Services Provided
We provide same-day and express courier services for general and dangerous goods in compliance with ADR regulations. Services are available across Scotland delivering nationwide as listed in our service area section.
High-Consequence Dangerous Goods Policy
In accordance with ADR 1.10.3, DGX does not transport high-consequence dangerous goods, which are defined as substances that could be used in a terrorist attack and result in serious consequences such as mass casualties or major economic disruption. Our operations strictly exclude the carriage of such goods to ensure compliance with security obligations and safeguard public safety.
Bookings & Payment
All bookings are subject to confirmation and availability.
Prices are agreed upon at the time of booking.
Payment terms will be confirmed per client (e.g. upfront or monthly invoicing).
Failure to pay within agreed terms may result in service suspension.
Liability & Insurance
We are insured for carriage of dangerous goods.
Our liability is limited to the value stated in our insurance cover unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control (e.g. traffic, weather, regulatory checks).
Dangerous Goods Compliance
The consignor is responsible for providing correct documentation and classification of goods.
We reserve the right to refuse carriage of non-compliant or incorrectly declared dangerous goods.
Tremcards and packaging must comply with ADR standards.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
Ensure correct packaging and labelling
Be available for agreed collection/delivery times
Provide accurate contact details and addresses
Cancellations
Same-day jobs cancelled within 1 hour of scheduled collection may incur full charge.
Retained contracts require 30 days’ notice for termination.
Intellectual Property
The DGX Express name, logo, and website content are the property of DG Express Ltd. You may not copy or reproduce any material without prior written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Disputes will be handled by Scottish courts.
Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The latest version will be posted on our website.
